Warranty and Refund Policy
At AirBolt®, we're committed to developing innovative, reliable products that make protecting, tracking and managing your belongings easier.
We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to feel confident in your purchase.
This policy outlines our returns and refunds, standard manufacturer warranty, GPS subscription terms and optional Premium Replacement Warranty.
AirBolt® is operated by AB Worldwide Pty Ltd, Australia.
1. Our 30-Day Return and Refund Policy
AirBolt offers a 30-day return and refund window for eligible products purchased directly from theairbolt.com.
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a voluntary return within 30 calendar days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions below.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a voluntary, non-warranty return:
-
The product must have been purchased directly from theairbolt.com.
-
Your return request must be submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery.
-
The product must be in like-new condition, without damage, excessive wear or signs of misuse.
-
Original product packaging must be included, together with all originally supplied accessories, charging cables, components and instructions.
-
The product and its packaging must be clean and suitable for resale.
-
Clear photographs of the product, packaging and accessories must be provided for assessment.
-
A valid order number or proof of purchase must be supplied.
-
The return must be approved by our support team before being shipped.
Customers should initiate the return approval process promptly within the 30-day period. Delays caused by AirBolt's processing of a timely request will not, by themselves, invalidate an otherwise eligible return.
Separately purchased accessories, promotional, clearance and sale items are generally excluded from our voluntary 30-day return offer unless otherwise stated.
These conditions apply only to voluntary returns and do not limit mandatory consumer protection rights.
Original Packaging Requirements
To avoid potential restocking fees, returned products must include their original packaging in good condition, together with all originally supplied components and accessories.
Returns involving missing, damaged or significantly altered packaging, missing accessories, or products that are no longer in like-new condition may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 50% of the purchase price, where permitted by law.
Opening the packaging does not automatically result in the maximum restocking fee. Any applicable deduction will depend on the product's condition, diminished resale value and reasonable restoration costs.
2. How to Request a Return
To request a voluntary return:
-
Email support@theairbolt.com with the subject line "Return Request".
-
Include your order number, registered email address and reason for the return.
-
Provide clear photographs showing the condition of the device, its original packaging, and all included accessories and components. The photographs must demonstrate that the product remains in like-new condition.
-
Our support team will assess your request and determine whether the return meets our voluntary return requirements.
-
If approved, you will receive an official return approval email with shipping instructions.
-
The approved return must be dispatched within 14 calendar days of receiving the approval email.
-
Once shipped, provide the tracking details to our support team.
Please do not return products without prior authorisation.
AirBolt reserves the right to inspect and assess returned products upon receipt, even where preliminary approval was granted based on photographs.
Final eligibility for voluntary returns is determined following inspection and in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
3. Refund Processing and Restocking Fees
Refund Processing
Once an authorised return has been received and inspected, our team will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
For approved voluntary refunds:
-
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
-
Refund processing may take up to 14 business days following receipt, inspection and final approval of the returned product.
-
Your bank or payment provider may require additional time for the funds to appear in your account.
Where applicable law requires a shorter processing timeframe, that timeframe will apply.
Restocking Fees — Up to 50%
For voluntary, non-warranty returns, AirBolt reserves the right to apply a restocking fee of up to 50% of the returned product's purchase price, where permitted by law.
A restocking fee may apply where:
-
Original packaging is missing, damaged or unsuitable for resale.
-
The product shows signs of use beyond reasonable inspection.
-
Accessories, cables or other originally supplied components are missing.
-
The product requires cleaning, refurbishment, repackaging or additional processing.
-
The product has otherwise suffered diminished resale value.
The fee will be determined based on the actual condition of the returned product, missing components, diminished value and reasonable restoration costs.
AirBolt may reject a voluntary return where the product does not meet our return eligibility requirements.
Restocking fees do not apply to statutory remedies for defective goods or other circumstances where such fees are prohibited by law.
Refunds After 30 Days
After 30 calendar days from delivery, voluntary returns, exchanges and refunds are no longer available.
If a product develops a genuine manufacturing defect or hardware fault after this period, it will be assessed under the applicable product warranty.
For eligible claims under AirBolt's voluntary manufacturer's warranty, our standard remedy is repair or replacement.
Refunds are not ordinarily offered under this voluntary warranty after the 30-day return window.
However, refunds and other remedies will be provided where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Return Shipping Costs
For voluntary, non-warranty returns:
-
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
-
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.
-
We recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of postage.
-
Customers should consider shipping insurance for higher-value items.
Where a customer is entitled to a statutory remedy for a defective product, AirBolt will provide or reimburse reasonable shipping expenses where required by law.
Late or Missing Refunds
If an approved refund has not appeared within the expected timeframe, please first check with your bank or payment provider.
If the issue remains unresolved, contact billing@theairbolt.com with your order number and refund confirmation.
4. AirBolt One-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty
AirBolt-branded hardware products are covered by a One-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
The warranty period begins on the date of original retail purchase and continues for 12 months.
This voluntary warranty applies to eligible AirBolt products used normally and in accordance with published product instructions, technical specifications and operating guidelines.
What Is Covered?
The standard manufacturer warranty covers verified manufacturing defects and hardware failures occurring under normal, intended use.
Where a claim is accepted, AirBolt may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law:
-
Provide troubleshooting or corrective instructions.
-
Repair the defective product.
-
Replace the defective product with the same model.
-
Supply a functionally equivalent replacement where the original model is unavailable, with customer consent where required.
Replacement products may be new or refurbished, provided they meet appropriate standards of functionality and reliability.
AirBolt reserves the right to assess whether a reported issue constitutes a genuine product defect and to determine whether troubleshooting, repair or replacement is appropriate under this voluntary warranty.
These decisions are based on available evidence, device diagnostics, warranty conditions and applicable consumer law.
Second-Hand and Resold Products
AirBolt's voluntary One-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty applies to the original retail purchaser or original recipient of a new product purchased as a gift, subject to proof of purchase.
Second-hand products purchased or acquired from another owner are not covered by AirBolt's voluntary manufacturer warranty unless expressly authorised by AirBolt in writing.
Products purchased from unauthorised resellers or unofficial distribution channels may also be excluded from our voluntary manufacturer warranty.
These exclusions do not remove statutory consumer rights that may apply to second-hand goods or products purchased from businesses.
Official replacement devices supplied by AirBolt under an approved warranty claim are not considered unauthorised second-hand products.
5. What Is Not Covered by the Standard Warranty?
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the standard manufacturer warranty does not cover:
-
Accidental damage, misuse, abuse, improper handling or intentional damage.
-
Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, chips or broken plastic that does not result from a manufacturing defect.
-
Normal wear and tear or expected ageing of components.
-
Consumable components, including batteries and protective coatings, unless failure results from a manufacturing defect.
-
Water or liquid damage beyond the product's published water-resistance specifications.
-
Damage caused by fire, flooding, earthquakes or other external events.
-
Damage caused by operating a product outside its published specifications.
-
Damage resulting from incompatible third-party accessories, chargers or equipment.
-
Unauthorised repairs, modifications or disassembly where these cause the relevant damage or failure.
-
Intentional alteration of device functionality without AirBolt's written authorisation.
-
Loss or theft of the product.
-
Products reported stolen or where ownership cannot reasonably be verified.
-
Products with security measures that cannot reasonably be deactivated for servicing, where ownership cannot otherwise be established.
-
Issues caused solely by inadequate cellular coverage, external network outages or environmental conditions.
-
Second-hand products and products acquired from unauthorised resellers, for purposes of the voluntary manufacturer warranty.
-
Non-AirBolt branded hardware or accessories unless expressly covered.
These exclusions apply to AirBolt's voluntary manufacturer warranty and do not remove statutory consumer rights.
Software, Firmware and App-Related Issues
AirBolt's One-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty is a hardware warranty and does not independently cover software, firmware, mobile applications or third-party digital services.
This includes software distributed with or separately from an AirBolt product.
AirBolt does not guarantee that software, applications or connected services will operate without interruption, temporary errors or compatibility limitations.
Software updates, firmware updates, bug fixes, app-related issues and connectivity problems may be addressed through troubleshooting, technical assistance or product updates.
Where a reported software or firmware issue affects a product's normal operation, AirBolt may investigate whether the underlying cause relates to hardware, software, configuration, connectivity or another factor.
A software-related issue does not automatically establish a hardware manufacturing defect or qualify for hardware replacement under the voluntary warranty.
Applicable software licence agreements continue to govern the use of AirBolt and third-party software.
Nothing in this section excludes statutory consumer guarantees relating to software, digital services, advertised functionality or the overall performance of a purchased product.
GPS Connectivity and Location Accuracy
AirBolt GPS products rely on supported cellular networks and multiple location technologies.
Connectivity, location accuracy, reporting frequency and device performance may vary depending on:
-
Cellular coverage and network availability.
-
GPS satellite visibility.
-
Indoor and outdoor environments.
-
Device settings and reporting configurations.
-
Battery and operating conditions.
-
Interference or other technical and environmental factors.
Temporary limitations arising solely from external network conditions do not necessarily constitute a manufacturing defect.
Applicable consumer guarantees remain unaffected.
6. Warranty Claims, Fault Assessment and Verification
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your AirBolt product is defective, contact support@theairbolt.com.
Please provide:
-
Your order number or proof of purchase.
-
The product model and serial number, where available.
-
A detailed description of the issue.
-
Relevant photographs or videos, where practical.
-
Additional information reasonably requested by our technical support team.
AirBolt's Right to Assess and Determine Faults
AirBolt retains the right to inspect, investigate, test and diagnose a reported issue to determine whether a device is faulty and whether the claim qualifies under the applicable voluntary warranty.
This assessment may include:
-
Reviewing photographs or videos.
-
Conducting remote device diagnostics.
-
Evaluating relevant firmware and software versions.
-
Checking device settings, network conditions and operating environments.
-
Requesting reasonable troubleshooting steps.
-
Requesting the return of the device for physical examination.
AirBolt may determine that a reported issue is:
-
A manufacturing or hardware defect.
-
A software or configuration problem that can be resolved without replacement.
-
A connectivity or environmental limitation.
-
Damage resulting from misuse, accident or circumstances outside the voluntary warranty.
-
A situation where no qualifying defect is identified.
Submitting a warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a replacement device.
AirBolt determines the appropriate remedy under its voluntary manufacturer's warranty following assessment.
Where consumer protection laws provide additional or different remedies, those statutory rights take precedence.
Warranty Service Options
AirBolt may offer warranty service through:
Remote troubleshooting: Instructions, diagnostics, firmware updates or other corrective measures.
Mail-in service: Where physical assessment or replacement is necessary, AirBolt will provide instructions for returning the product.
Carry-in service: Where available, an authorised AirBolt retailer or service location may assist with warranty inspection or replacement.
AirBolt may select or change the available service method based on product type, location, service availability and the nature of the issue, subject to applicable law.
Returning a Device for Warranty Assessment
Where a product return is required:
-
Follow the packaging and shipping instructions provided by AirBolt.
-
Include all originally supplied components and accessories, including charging cables, unless otherwise approved in writing.
-
Product manuals may be excluded unless specifically requested.
-
Package the product securely to prevent transit damage.
-
Retain proof of shipment and tracking information.
Where relevant, AirBolt may request missing components before completing a voluntary warranty replacement or charge a reasonable, disclosed missing-component fee where legally permitted.
Original retail packaging is not required for statutory consumer guarantee claims involving defective products.
Where sufficient evidence can be obtained remotely, AirBolt may waive the physical return requirement.
If a returned device is found not to have a qualifying fault, AirBolt will explain the assessment outcome. Any proposed inspection or return charges will be disclosed in advance where required by law.
Replacement Devices and Data
Following an approved replacement:
-
The original device may be disabled and removed from the customer's account.
-
The replacement may be supplied with factory-default settings.
-
Firmware or system software may be updated.
-
Updates may prevent the device from reverting to earlier firmware versions.
-
Previously stored settings or data may not be recoverable.
-
Customers are responsible for preserving available personal data and settings before service, where reasonably possible.
Warranty Shipping Costs
For accepted claims under AirBolt's voluntary standard manufacturer warranty, AirBolt generally covers the cost of shipping an approved replacement to the customer, subject to the service instructions provided.
Where consumer protection laws require AirBolt to cover or reimburse reasonable costs associated with a defective product claim, AirBolt will do so.
Customers should contact AirBolt before shipping a device and retain receipts for expenses they seek to recover.
7. Australian Consumer Law and Statutory Rights
AirBolt's voluntary warranties and return policies operate in addition to any consumer guarantees provided under applicable law.
For Australian consumers, AirBolt products are subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
Mandatory Australian Consumer Law Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Additional Consumer Protections
AirBolt's voluntary manufacturer warranty provides benefits in addition to statutory consumer guarantees.
Those statutory guarantees may continue beyond the stated One-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty period.
Where a product experiences a major failure, applicable law may entitle a customer to choose a refund or replacement.
For a non-major failure, AirBolt may generally provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any statutory consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.
Customers outside Australia retain any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in their jurisdiction.
8. AirBolt GPS Subscription Policy
AirBolt GPS devices require an active subscription for cellular connectivity, remote location reporting and other connected GPS services.
Subscription pricing, available plans, billing periods and included features are displayed at purchase or activation.
Free Trials
Eligible GPS products may include a complimentary subscription trial.
Subscription cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the trial period ends to avoid automatic conversion to a paid subscription.
Customers are responsible for completing cancellation within this timeframe.
If cancellation is not completed at least 24 hours before the trial expires, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid plan and the applicable subscription fee may be charged.
Charges arising from a missed trial cancellation deadline are non-refundable under AirBolt's voluntary subscription refund policy, except where required by law or applicable payment-platform rules.
Subscriptions Without a Free Trial
Where a GPS subscription is activated without a complimentary trial, including through certain promotional offers, AirBolt provides a 14-calendar-day grace period during which customers may request a refund of the initial subscription charge.
This discretionary offer does not apply to ordinary subscription renewals after a complimentary trial has expired.
Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Subscription Renewals and Cancellation
AirBolt GPS subscriptions generally renew automatically unless cancelled before the applicable renewal deadline.
Please note:
-
Customers are responsible for managing subscription renewals, cancellations and payment information.
-
Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the next scheduled renewal under AirBolt's standard billing arrangements to avoid the next subscription charge.
-
Cancellation generally prevents future renewals and does not automatically provide a refund for a billing period that has already commenced.
-
Subscription charges for commenced billing periods are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or an applicable refund offer.
-
Connected GPS services will cease when the applicable subscription expires or is deactivated.
Where subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google, the relevant platform's billing, cancellation and refund terms also apply.
Account Deletion and Active Subscriptions
Deleting your AirBolt account or uninstalling the AirBolt app does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription or deactivate connected devices.
Customers must explicitly cancel active subscriptions to prevent future renewal charges.
Unless properly cancelled, subscriptions may continue to renew, and customers remain responsible for applicable charges, subject to contractual and statutory rights.
For assistance, contact support@theairbolt.com or use the relevant subscription management platform.
For information about deleting your account, visit our Account Deletion page.
9. Premium Replacement Warranty
AirBolt offers an optional Premium Replacement Warranty for eligible AirBolt products.
This paid protection plan provides additional benefits beyond the standard manufacturer warranty.
Coverage may apply to eligible AirBolt Smart Locks, Cards and GPS devices, depending on the plan purchased.
What Is Covered?
Subject to applicable plan terms, Premium Replacement Warranty benefits may include:
-
Loss or theft: Replacement of an eligible product that has been lost or stolen.
-
Accidental damage: Unintentional physical damage affecting normal operation.
-
Battery-related failures: Battery faults causing abnormal device behaviour.
-
Water damage: Accidental water damage preventing normal product operation.
-
Hardware failures: Continued coverage for eligible manufacturing defects beyond the standard manufacturer warranty period while Premium coverage remains active.
-
GPS hardware upgrades: Upgrade benefits for qualifying newer-generation GPS devices under eligible annual and two-year Premium Warranty plans.
GPS upgrade benefits are available only under qualifying annual and two-year plans.
Premium Replacement Warranty is an additional hardware protection benefit and does not replace or limit the standard manufacturer warranty or statutory consumer guarantees.
Premium Warranty Exclusions
Unless otherwise required by law, the Premium Replacement Warranty does not cover:
-
Intentional loss or deliberate damage.
-
Fraudulent or misleading claims.
-
Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.
-
Claims exceeding the applicable plan allowance.
-
Products outside the purchased coverage tier.
-
Products not owned by the registered account holder.
-
Loss, theft or damage already fully compensated through insurance.
-
Extraordinary external events or force majeure, unless expressly covered by the applicable plan.
-
Other circumstances expressly excluded by the purchased plan and permitted by law.
AirBolt may investigate and reject ineligible or fraudulent claims under the optional Premium Warranty.
10. Premium Warranty Eligibility and Active Coverage
Premium Replacement Warranty benefits are available only while the applicable paid coverage remains active.
To qualify for a claim:
-
You must have an active, paid Premium Warranty subscription.
-
You must be the registered owner of the covered device.
-
The device must be associated with your AirBolt account.
-
The device must have been registered to your account for at least 30 days before the claim.
-
The claim must fall within the benefits and limits of your purchased plan.
Devices shared with your account by another user do not qualify for Premium Warranty replacement benefits.
Premium Warranty coverage is non-transferable between individuals or business entities.
What Happens If You Cancel?
Customers who cancel their Premium Warranty subscription generally retain eligible benefits until the end of the current paid coverage period.
For annual and two-year plans, coverage remains active until the paid term expires.
For monthly instalment plans, coverage remains active while required instalments are paid and the applicable 12-month commitment remains valid.
A cancellation request that prevents future renewal does not automatically terminate coverage already paid for.
Once the paid coverage period ends, Premium Warranty benefits cease.
Benefits are unavailable while coverage is unpaid, overdue, suspended, expired or otherwise inactive under applicable plan terms.
Trial subscriptions do not qualify for paid Premium Warranty benefits unless expressly stated.
11. Premium Warranty Claim Limits
Replacement Allowances
The Premium Warranty generally allows one replacement claim per covered device during each 12-month coverage period.
-
The coverage period begins on the plan activation date.
-
Each 12-month coverage period ends at 11:59 pm on the day before the corresponding anniversary date, using the applicable billing timezone.
-
Unused claims do not accumulate or carry forward.
-
Claim allowances reset at the beginning of an eligible renewed coverage period.
-
Claims under the standard manufacturer warranty or statutory consumer guarantees do not count against Premium Warranty replacement allowances.
Smart Lock and Card Coverage
For eligible AirBolt Smart Locks and Cards:
-
Coverage depends on the number of devices included in the purchased subscription tier.
-
Coverage is not necessarily tied to a specific serial number.
-
Eligible devices must be owned by the account holder and registered within their account.
-
Each covered device is subject to the applicable claim allowance.
AirBolt GPS Coverage
For AirBolt GPS products:
-
Premium Warranty coverage is tied to the specific GPS device for which the plan was purchased.
-
Coverage cannot be transferred to an unrelated GPS device unless expressly approved by AirBolt.
-
Replacement and upgrade benefits remain subject to the applicable claim limits.
Premium Warranty Fault Assessment
AirBolt reserves the right to determine whether a Premium Warranty claim qualifies and whether troubleshooting, repair or replacement is appropriate.
Our support team may request:
-
Photographs or videos.
-
Proof of purchase.
-
Device serial numbers.
-
Relevant diagnostic information.
-
Return of the original device for examination.
AirBolt may determine that a reported issue can be resolved through troubleshooting, software configuration or other reasonable corrective measures without replacing the device.
Submitting a Premium Warranty claim does not automatically guarantee replacement.
These provisions apply to optional Premium Warranty benefits and do not restrict statutory consumer remedies.
12. Premium Warranty Replacements
Where replacement is approved under the Premium Warranty:
-
The replacement device may be new or refurbished.
-
Original retail packaging may not be supplied.
-
Replacement accessories, including charging cables, are generally excluded.
-
AirBolt may require the original device to be returned, at the customer's expense under the optional Premium plan where legally permitted.
-
The original device may be disabled and removed from the customer's account.
-
Replacement shipping costs are generally payable by the customer.
-
Replacement is subject to the applicable claim allowances and plan conditions.
Warranty on Replacement Devices
Replacement devices supplied under the Premium Warranty include an additional 30-day limited hardware warranty, beginning on the date the replacement is received.
Following that period, optional Premium Warranty benefits continue only while the applicable Premium Warranty subscription remains active and paid.
The additional 30-day provision does not shorten any remaining standard manufacturer's warranty coverage or statutory consumer rights.
Where the remaining standard manufacturer warranty is longer than 30 days, that remaining coverage continues.
A replacement under Premium Warranty does not restart the original 12-month manufacturer warranty unless expressly stated or required by law.
13. Premium GPS Upgrade Benefits
Customers with eligible AirBolt GPS annual or two-year Premium Warranty plans may qualify for an upgrade to a newer-generation AirBolt GPS device.
Upgrade Conditions
-
An eligible annual plan allows a maximum of one qualifying upgrade during its annual term.
-
An eligible two-year plan allows a maximum of one qualifying upgrade during its two-year term.
-
The upgraded product must be a newer hardware generation.
-
Colour changes, cosmetic revisions, firmware updates and software improvements do not qualify.
-
The newer-generation device must be officially released and available in stock at theairbolt.com.
-
Upgrade benefits are subject to the applicable plan's claim allowance.
-
Shipping costs are not included unless expressly stated.
-
The existing applicable subscription will be transferred to the upgraded device.
-
The original GPS device may be disabled and removed from the account.
-
AirBolt may require return of the original device.
The upgraded device includes the applicable additional 30-day limited hardware warranty.
Once that period expires, optional Premium Warranty benefits continue only while paid coverage remains active.
The additional 30-day provision does not reduce any remaining standard manufacturer warranty or statutory consumer rights.
14. Premium Warranty Payment Terms
Premium Replacement Warranty plans may be offered on annual or two-year terms, with monthly instalment options available for certain plans.
Annual and Two-Year Plans
Customers purchasing an annual or two-year Premium Warranty plan receive coverage for the applicable paid term.
Cancellation generally prevents renewal at the end of that term but does not ordinarily provide a refund for coverage already commenced.
Coverage remains available until the paid term expires, provided the plan remains valid.
Monthly Premium Warranty Plans — 12-Month Minimum Commitment
All monthly Premium Warranty payment plans have a minimum 12-month commitment.
Monthly billing is a payment arrangement for a 12-month minimum warranty term, not a month-to-month protection plan without a minimum commitment.
By purchasing a monthly Premium Warranty plan, customers agree to pay the applicable monthly instalments for the full 12-month minimum term.
Where a purchased plan expressly specifies a longer commitment, that disclosed term will apply.
Monthly Plans and Replacement Claims
If a customer makes an eligible Premium Warranty replacement claim while paying monthly instalments, the remaining balance of their 12-month commitment must be paid before the optional Premium Warranty replacement is processed.
For example, if a customer has paid four monthly instalments of a 12-month plan, the remaining eight instalments must be paid before the optional replacement is processed.
This condition must have been clearly disclosed and agreed at purchase and applies only to claims under the optional Premium Warranty.
Payment of the outstanding balance does not automatically terminate the paid coverage period.
Customers retain eligible Premium Warranty benefits for the remainder of their applicable term, subject to plan conditions and available claim allowances.
These requirements do not restrict standard manufacturer warranty claims or statutory consumer remedies.
15. Premium Warranty Cancellation and Renewal
Customers may request cancellation by contacting support@theairbolt.com.
Annual and Two-Year Plans
Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid coverage term.
The plan will not renew once that term expires.
Premium Warranty benefits remain available until the paid coverage expires, provided the plan remains valid.
Monthly Plans
All monthly Premium Warranty plans have a minimum 12-month commitment.
Customers may submit a cancellation request before the end of the commitment period to prevent renewal after the minimum term.
However, cancellation does not release the customer from agreed payment obligations for the 12-month commitment.
There is no separate cancellation administration fee, although outstanding contractual instalments remain payable, subject to applicable law.
Provided payments remain current, Premium Warranty benefits continue during the applicable coverage period.
Once the commitment has been completed and the paid coverage expires, benefits cease unless the subscription is renewed.
Refunds on Premium Warranty Plans
Premium Warranty subscription payments are generally non-refundable once the applicable coverage period has commenced, except where required by law.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund for unused coverage.
Suspension and Termination
AirBolt may investigate suspected fraudulent claims, intentional damage, non-payment, illegal use, service abuse or material breaches of the applicable Premium Warranty terms.
Where permitted by law, AirBolt may suspend or terminate optional Premium Warranty benefits for proven fraud, deliberate misuse, non-payment or other material breaches.
These provisions do not remove statutory consumer rights.
16. Third-Party Retailers and Second-Hand Purchases
If your AirBolt product was purchased from an authorised retailer, distributor or marketplace, please retain proof of purchase.
For retailer-specific voluntary returns, contact the original seller.
AirBolt may also provide eligible manufacturer warranty assistance through support@theairbolt.com.
Retailers may have their own voluntary change-of-mind policies.
Second-Hand Purchases
Products purchased or acquired second-hand from another individual are not eligible for AirBolt's voluntary One-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty unless AirBolt expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
AirBolt may request proof of original purchase, ownership and product registration details before assessing a voluntary warranty claim.
Statutory rights applicable to second-hand goods remain unaffected.
17. International Warranty and Returns
AirBolt serves customers in multiple countries.
Warranty, refund, return and statutory consumer rights may vary by jurisdiction.
Where mandatory local laws provide additional rights, including withdrawal periods, minimum product guarantees or repair, replacement and refund entitlements, those laws take precedence over conflicting provisions of this policy.
International warranty claims may be subject to product compatibility requirements, shipping availability, customs procedures and local import or export regulations.
Where permitted by law, customers requesting voluntary warranty service outside the original country of purchase may be responsible for applicable customs duties, taxes and cross-border charges.
Please contact our support team before returning any product internationally.
18. General Warranty Conditions
Customer Responsibilities
Customers requesting warranty service may be required to:
-
Provide proof of purchase and ownership.
-
Complete reasonable troubleshooting steps.
-
Supply photographs, videos or diagnostic information.
-
Follow return and packaging instructions.
-
Deactivate security features where reasonably necessary and authorised.
-
Preserve available personal data before submitting a product for service.
Only AirBolt or its authorised service providers should carry out warranty-related servicing.
Warranty Administration
AirBolt reserves the right to determine the appropriate method of assessment and voluntary warranty service, subject to applicable law.
AirBolt may update its voluntary warranty terms from time to time. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued contractual or statutory rights.
No unauthorised reseller, agent or employee may modify or extend AirBolt's written manufacturer warranty without written approval from AirBolt.
AirBolt or its lawful successor is the warrantor under the applicable written manufacturer warranty.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AirBolt excludes liability for indirect or consequential commercial losses, including loss of anticipated profits, business opportunities, savings or goodwill, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
AirBolt does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party networks or services outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies liability, statutory guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Policy Enforceability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Mandatory consumer protection laws take precedence over conflicting contractual terms.
